Backstory
If anyone is curious, here’s a little backstory on the project:
This project has been a LONG time in the making; or I guess more accurately, a long time in the waiting. We had the idea for it pretty much during the inception for the first one in a way lol. We knew that we wanted to make the Lightskinned Wondertwins into a series, and we knew that we didn’t wanna have everything be too easy to find. That’s right y’all. There is a whole bunch of secret music that is out, but you’ll never find. LSWT 1, 3, 4, and 6 are hidden somewhere in the internet. Somewhere secret…
Tracklist
Track 1: Rose Quartz
This song has been doing numbers off the Google drive plays for years lol. I think this was the first song we recorded for this EP, lightly jabbing at the girls who use astrology to choose their partners. (please note that we both know, and rap about our Big 3) (don’t come for us astrology girls) (i know tarot magic)
Track 2: *coughs aggresively*
This is actually my favorite song off of this whole project. The beat came from my homie Andrew Kelly (follow him on instagram) and honestly, it just hits different. Me and Kalamari both went absolutely crazy on this one.
Track 3: Republicans
Just to save you some thought, the title is just a reference to us rapping about having guns lmao. Not too much to think about, mainly for banging out of the trunk on the way to the beach or getting real sweaty to on someones nice wood floors. Proceed with caution.
Track 4: R&R
Fun fact: The hook for this song came out of spite because my cousin (CHEKMYSTEEZ) was hating on the word ‘rizz’ while we were smoking one day. As a matter of fact I pretty much freestyled it, and we had the whole thang written in like 2 hours. Kalamari slid on the end too, in my opinion this was his smoothest shit on the whole tape.
