Backstory

I would like to re-affirm that this song was just me venting and I promise I do not, and never have acted like how I was rapping on this song lol. Let me give you some back story.

Between 2018 and 2020, I was fighting to hold onto this off-again-on-again situationship. In fact I as holding on to 2 at the same time basically ping ponging from disappointment to disappointing but that is a much longer story. The incident inspiring this song goes as such (condensed for brevity and discretion):

  1. This girl apologizes for playing with my feelings for all this time

  2. I guess I take it too seriously or something

  3. We hook up

  4. The next day I hear she’s dating the one other rapper that I actively dislike 🤦🏽

Now she is free to make her decisions and date around as she chooses so I can’t really fault her, but mannnn my feelings were hurt. I think it took me like 32 hours from finding out to have this song fully written. Sometime you just gotta get some shit off you know?
