Backstory

Once upon a time, I was living with my manager and making absolutely no money. Supposedly, I was working on music and trying to find opportunities. In reality, I was just scrolling on Tiktok, writing aimless verses, and just waiting around. At this point I had been dropped from my management deal, no shows were really happening anymore, and everything was just grinding to a halt.

I found myself smoking on the stairs one morning, looking off into the trees in my feelings. A fresh beat pack from my boy Incendium was sitting in my drive, so I loaded one up to try and get myself out of the funk.

This was the result.

As I listened to the beat, I just started reflecting on my situation. I wanted to get out of the headspace I was in and push myself to perform at the level I knew I could. While I was writing, I was imagining myself on a stage, doing all the things I rap about in the song and honestly, it was one of the most healing experiences I’ve had writing a song. Hopefully when you listen you can tell how special it is.
